Connect Manyplug to your AI

Every client uses the same address. On the first connection you sign in to Manyplug and allow access, and the AI gets your services.

Same address for every client. Access is granted per app and can be revoked in the dashboard.

Claude

claude.ai, Claude Desktop and mobile. Custom connectors work on the free plan too.

  1. Open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Click “Add custom connector”, name it Manyplug and paste the URL.
  3. Click Connect: Manyplug opens — sign in and allow access.
  4. In a new chat, turn Manyplug on in the tools menu and ask: “Connect my email”.

ChatGPT

Needs developer mode (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Edu).

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Go back to Apps & Connectors and click Create.
  3. Name: Manyplug, MCP server URL: your URL, authentication: OAuth. Confirm you trust the app.
  4. Sign in to Manyplug and allow access. In a chat, pick Manyplug under “+” → More.

Claude Code

Terminal, VS Code and JetBrains.

  1. Run the command in a terminal.
    claude mcp add --transport http --scope user manyplug https://manyplug.com/mcp
  2. Start claude, type /mcp, pick manyplug and sign in in the browser.

Cursor

Cursor 1.0 and later.

  1. Click “Add to Cursor” or paste the config into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.

    Add to Cursor

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "manyplug": {
          "url": "https://manyplug.com/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  2. In Cursor Settings → MCP click “Login” next to manyplug and sign in.

VS Code

GitHub Copilot in agent mode.

  1. Click “Install in VS Code” or add the server to .vscode/mcp.json.

    Install in VS Code

    {
      "servers": {
        "manyplug": {
          "type": "http",
          "url": "https://manyplug.com/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  2. Start the server in the MCP list and sign in when VS Code asks.

Codex

  1. Add the server to ~/.codex/config.toml.
    [mcp_servers.manyplug]
    url = "https://manyplug.com/mcp"
  2. Run codex mcp login manyplug and sign in in the browser.

Gemini CLI

  1. Run the command.
    gemini mcp add --transport http manyplug https://manyplug.com/mcp
  2. In Gemini CLI type /mcp auth manyplug and sign in.

Windsurf

Windsurf Editor.

  1. Add the server to ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json.
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "manyplug": {
          "serverUrl": "https://manyplug.com/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  2. Refresh the MCP servers and sign in.

Other clients

Any client with remote MCP over HTTP (Streamable HTTP).

  1. Add a remote MCP server with this URL — the client opens the sign-in itself (OAuth 2.1).
  2. If the client cannot do OAuth, create a personal token in the dashboard (AI apps) and send the header Authorization: Bearer <token>.

Check that it works

In a new chat, ask: “Which accounts can you use in Manyplug?” The AI should name your connected accounts. If something is off:

  • The client cannot connect or keeps asking to sign in: remove Manyplug from the client, add it again and allow access once more.
  • The AI does not see Manyplug: turn it on in the chat’s tools menu, or start a new chat after adding it.
  • The AI sees Manyplug but no accounts: connect a service in the dashboard, or ask the AI to connect one.
  • An action is refused or waits for you: your rules ask first or do not allow it. Rules for apps and accounts

Connecting services

Services are connected in the dashboard, or right from the chat: ask the AI to connect one and open the link it gives you.

  • Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive: sign in on the service’s own page.
  • Airtable, Asana, Email (IMAP/SMTP), GitHub, HubSpot, Jira, Linear, Notion, Slack, Stripe, Todoist, and Trello: paste an app password or API key into our form.
  • Several accounts of one service are fine. Name them so the AI can tell them apart.

Your own servers and APIs

Services that are not on the list can be added too:

  • any remote MCP server by its address: in the dashboard under Services → Your own MCP servers. Sign-in is worked out automatically, or you paste a token;
  • any REST/JSON API through the HTTP API service: its address and key. The AI can also describe an API as a manifest (operations, parameters, sign-in) and add it from the chat.

Safety

Risky actions such as sending or deleting wait for your OK in the dashboard. Each AI app can be limited to certain accounts or to reading only, on the Rules page or by asking the AI; a change that loosens a rule waits for your OK too. Turn on two-step verification for your Manyplug account.

API

Everything in the dashboard is also available over the REST API at /api/v1, for scripts and fine-grained setup.

  • Create a personal token under AI apps → Personal tokens and send it as “Authorization: Bearer …”.
  • Fine-grained rules (one app on one account, per service, per MCP address) live at /api/v1/rules and /api/v1/personas.
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer ac_pat_…" https://manyplug.com/api/v1/rules
