Connect Gmail to Windsurf

To use Gmail in Windsurf, connect your Gmail account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Windsurf once. Windsurf then gets 9 Gmail tools, for example: “Search mail”, “Read a message”, and “Send an email”. It takes about 4 minutes and works on the free plan.

Can I connect two Gmail accounts to Windsurf?

Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Windsurf can use one of them or all at once.

Will Windsurf change anything in Gmail without asking?

By default these actions wait for your approval before they run: “Send an email”, “Reply”, and “Forward”. Other changes follow your rules, which you can make stricter per account.

Do I need an official Gmail MCP server for this?

No. Manyplug connects to Gmail itself (you sign in on Gmail’s page) and gives Windsurf the tools through one MCP address, together with your other services.
