Connect Gmail to Gemini CLI

To use Gmail in Gemini CLI, connect your Gmail account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Gemini CLI once. Gemini CLI then gets 9 Gmail tools, for example: “Search mail”, “Read a message”, and “Send an email”. It takes about 3 minutes and works on the free plan.

Can I connect two Gmail accounts to Gemini CLI?

Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Gemini CLI can use one of them or all at once.

Will Gemini CLI change anything in Gmail without asking?

By default these actions wait for your approval before they run: “Send an email”, “Reply”, and “Forward”. Other changes follow your rules, which you can make stricter per account.

Do I need an official Gmail MCP server for this?
