Connect HubSpot to Gemini CLI

To use HubSpot in Gemini CLI, connect your HubSpot account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Gemini CLI once. Gemini CLI then gets 8 HubSpot tools, for example: “Search contacts”, “Search companies”, and “Search deals”. It takes about 3 minutes and works on the free plan.

Connect HubSpot Free plan, no card

1. Connect HubSpot in Manyplug

Click “Connect HubSpot” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

  1. In HubSpot, open Settings → Integrations → Private apps and click Create a private app.Open HubSpot
  2. On the Basic info tab, name the app Manyplug.
  3. On the Scopes tab, under CRM, tick read and write for contacts, companies and deals: crm.objects.contacts.read/write, crm.objects.companies.read/write, crm.objects.deals.read/write.
  4. Click Create app, then on the Access token tab click Show token and Copy. Paste the token (pat-…) into the form.
  • In newer HubSpot accounts this lives under Development → Legacy apps: click Create → Private there.
  • For read-only access, tick only the read scopes. You can rotate the token in the app settings.

2. Add Manyplug to Gemini CLI

Gemini CLI.

  1. Run the command.
    gemini mcp add --transport http manyplug https://manyplug.com/mcp
  2. In Gemini CLI type /mcp auth manyplug and sign in.

Can I connect two HubSpot accounts to Gemini CLI?
Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Gemini CLI can use one of them or all at once.
Will Gemini CLI change anything in HubSpot without asking?
Changes follow your rules: you can make every change in HubSpot wait for your approval, or let Gemini CLI only read.
