Connect HubSpot to Claude Code

To use HubSpot in Claude Code, connect your HubSpot account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Claude Code once. Claude Code then gets 8 HubSpot tools, for example: “Search contacts”, “Search companies”, and “Search deals”. It takes about 3 minutes and works on the free plan.

Connect HubSpot Free plan, no card

1. Connect HubSpot in Manyplug

Click “Connect HubSpot” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

A HubSpot private app token. Takes about three minutes and needs super admin rights.

In HubSpot, open Settings → Integrations → Private apps and click Create a private app.Open HubSpot
On the Basic info tab, name the app Manyplug.
On the Scopes tab, under CRM, tick read and write for contacts, companies and deals: crm.objects.contacts.read/write, crm.objects.companies.read/write, crm.objects.deals.read/write.
Click Create app, then on the Access token tab click Show token and Copy. Paste the token (pat-…) into the form.

In newer HubSpot accounts this lives under Development → Legacy apps: click Create → Private there.
For read-only access, tick only the read scopes. You can rotate the token in the app settings.

2. Add Manyplug to Claude Code

Terminal, VS Code and JetBrains.

Run the command in a terminal.

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user manyplug https://manyplug.com/mcp

Start claude, type /mcp, pick manyplug and sign in in the browser.

Add a contact: Anna Smith, anna@acme.com, ACME, Head of Procurement.

Can I connect two HubSpot accounts to Claude Code?

Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Claude Code can use one of them or all at once.

Will Claude Code change anything in HubSpot without asking?

Changes follow your rules: you can make every change in HubSpot wait for your approval, or let Claude Code only read.
