Connect Google Sheets to Claude Code
To use Google Sheets in Claude Code, connect your Google Sheets account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Claude Code once. Claude Code then gets 8 Google Sheets tools, for example: “Find spreadsheets”, “Spreadsheet structure”, and “Read cells”. It takes about 3 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Google Sheets in Manyplug
Click “Connect Google Sheets” and sign in on Google Sheets’s own page. Manyplug never sees your password.
2. Add Manyplug to Claude Code
Terminal, VS Code and JetBrains.

3. Ask Claude Code
- Find the “Budget 2027” spreadsheet and show the monthly totals.
- Add a row to Leads: ACME, Anna Smith, anna@acme.com, today.
- How many orders on the October sheet are marked Paid?
- Create a “Content plan” spreadsheet with columns Date, Topic, Channel, Owner.

Questions
Can I connect two Google Sheets accounts to Claude Code?
Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Claude Code can use one of them or all at once.
Will Claude Code change anything in Google Sheets without asking?
By default these actions wait for your approval before they run: “Clear cells”. Other changes follow your rules, which you can make stricter per account.
Do I need an official Google Sheets MCP server for this?
