Connect Figma to Claude Code

To use Figma in Claude Code, connect your Figma account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Claude Code once. Claude Code then gets 8 Figma tools, for example: “Team projects”, “Project files”, and “Get a file”. It takes about 3 minutes and works on the free plan.

Connect Figma Free plan, no card

1. Connect Figma in Manyplug

Click “Connect Figma” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

Your Figma personal access token. Takes under a minute.

In Figma, click your name at the top left → Settings → the Security tab.Open Figma
Under Personal access tokens, click Generate new token and allow File content: Read and Comments: Read and write.
Copy the token (it starts with figd_) and paste it into the form.

The token sees the same files as you and acts as you.
Figma tokens expire: make a new one when it does.

2. Add Manyplug to Claude Code

Terminal, VS Code and JetBrains.

Run the command in a terminal.

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user manyplug https://manyplug.com/mcp

Start claude, type /mcp, pick manyplug and sign in in the browser.

Can I connect two Figma accounts to Claude Code?

Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Claude Code can use one of them or all at once.

Will Claude Code change anything in Figma without asking?

Changes follow your rules: you can make every change in Figma wait for your approval, or let Claude Code only read.
