Connect Freshdesk to Claude Code

To use Freshdesk in Claude Code, connect your Freshdesk account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Claude Code once. Claude Code then gets 8 Freshdesk tools, for example: “List tickets”, “Search tickets”, and “Get a ticket”. It takes about 3 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Freshdesk in Manyplug

Click “Connect Freshdesk” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

Sign in to Freshdesk, click your avatar at the top right and open Profile settings.Open Freshdesk
On the right, click View API key, pass the check and copy the key.
In the form, enter your subdomain (acme for acme.freshdesk.com) and the key.

The AI acts as you, the agent. Replies to customers go out only after you confirm.
The key changes when you change your Freshdesk password: paste the new one then.

2. Add Manyplug to Claude Code

Terminal, VS Code and JetBrains.

Run the command in a terminal.

Start claude, type /mcp, pick manyplug and sign in in the browser.

Can I connect two Freshdesk accounts to Claude Code?

Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Claude Code can use one of them or all at once.

Will Claude Code change anything in Freshdesk without asking?

By default these actions wait for your approval before they run: “Reply to customer”. Other changes follow your rules, which you can make stricter per account.

Do I need an official Freshdesk MCP server for this?
