Connect Mailchimp to Claude Code
To use Mailchimp in Claude Code, connect your Mailchimp account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Claude Code once. Claude Code then gets 8 Mailchimp tools, for example: “Audiences”, “Search subscribers”, and “Get a subscriber”. It takes about 3 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Mailchimp in Manyplug
Click “Connect Mailchimp” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

- Open Mailchimp → your avatar → Profile → Extras → API keys.Open Mailchimp API keys
- Click Create A Key, name it Manyplug and copy the key.
- Paste the key into the form, and its ending after the dash (for example us21) into Data center.
- The key gives full access to the account. You can revoke it on the same page.
- New subscribers get a confirmation email first unless you tell the AI otherwise.
2. Add Manyplug to Claude Code
Terminal, VS Code and JetBrains.
- Run the command in a terminal.
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user manyplug https://manyplug.com/mcp - Start claude, type /mcp, pick manyplug and sign in in the browser.
3. Ask Claude Code
- How did the last Mailchimp campaign do: opens and clicks?
- Is anna@acme.com a subscriber? With which tags?
- Add ben@acme.com to the “Newsletter” audience with the webinar tag.
- Unsubscribe ann@acme.com from the newsletter.

Questions
Can I connect two Mailchimp accounts to Claude Code?
Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Claude Code can use one of them or all at once.
Will Claude Code change anything in Mailchimp without asking?
