Connect Mailchimp to ChatGPT
To use Mailchimp in ChatGPT, connect your Mailchimp account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to ChatGPT once. ChatGPT then gets 8 Mailchimp tools, for example: “Audiences”, “Search subscribers”, and “Get a subscriber”. It takes about 5 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Mailchimp in Manyplug
Click “Connect Mailchimp” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

- Open Mailchimp → your avatar → Profile → Extras → API keys.Open Mailchimp API keys
- Click Create A Key, name it Manyplug and copy the key.
- Paste the key into the form, and its ending after the dash (for example us21) into Data center.
- The key gives full access to the account. You can revoke it on the same page.
- New subscribers get a confirmation email first unless you tell the AI otherwise.
2. Add Manyplug to ChatGPT
Needs developer mode (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Edu).
- Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
- Go back to Apps & Connectors and click Create.
- Name: Manyplug, MCP server URL: your URL, authentication: OAuth. Confirm you trust the app.
- Sign in to Manyplug and allow access. In a chat, pick Manyplug under “+” → More.
3. Ask ChatGPT
- How did the last Mailchimp campaign do: opens and clicks?
- Is anna@acme.com a subscriber? With which tags?
- Add ben@acme.com to the “Newsletter” audience with the webinar tag.
- Unsubscribe ann@acme.com from the newsletter.

Can I connect two Mailchimp accounts to ChatGPT?
Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. ChatGPT can use one of them or all at once.
Will ChatGPT change anything in Mailchimp without asking?
Changes follow your rules: you can make every change in Mailchimp wait for your approval, or let ChatGPT only read.
