Connect Google Drive to ChatGPT
To use Google Drive in ChatGPT, connect your Google Drive account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to ChatGPT once. ChatGPT then gets 4 Google Drive tools, for example: “Search files”, “Read a file”, and “Create a file”. It takes about 5 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Google Drive in Manyplug
Click “Connect Google Drive” and sign in on Google Drive’s own page. Manyplug never sees your password.
2. Add Manyplug to ChatGPT
Needs developer mode (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Edu).
- Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
- Go back to Apps & Connectors and click Create.
- Name: Manyplug, MCP server URL: your URL, authentication: OAuth. Confirm you trust the app.
- Sign in to Manyplug and allow access. In a chat, pick Manyplug under “+” → More.
3. Ask ChatGPT
- Find the Q3 budget spreadsheet and tell me the total.
- Summarise the latest version of “Project brief”.
- Which documents did I edit this week?
- Create a doc “Meeting notes 12 Nov” with the points we just discussed.

Can I connect two Google Drive accounts to ChatGPT?
Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. ChatGPT can use one of them or all at once.
Will ChatGPT change anything in Google Drive without asking?
