Connect Google Sheets to ChatGPT
To use Google Sheets in ChatGPT, connect your Google Sheets account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to ChatGPT once. ChatGPT then gets 8 Google Sheets tools, for example: “Find spreadsheets”, “Spreadsheet structure”, and “Read cells”. It takes about 5 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Google Sheets in Manyplug
Click “Connect Google Sheets” and sign in on Google Sheets’s own page. Manyplug never sees your password.
2. Add Manyplug to ChatGPT
Needs developer mode (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Edu).
- Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
- Go back to Apps & Connectors and click Create.
- Name: Manyplug, MCP server URL: your URL, authentication: OAuth. Confirm you trust the app.
- Sign in to Manyplug and allow access. In a chat, pick Manyplug under “+” → More.
3. Ask ChatGPT
- Find the “Budget 2027” spreadsheet and show the monthly totals.
- Add a row to Leads: ACME, Anna Smith, anna@acme.com, today.
- How many orders on the October sheet are marked Paid?
- Create a “Content plan” spreadsheet with columns Date, Topic, Channel, Owner.

Can I connect two Google Sheets accounts to ChatGPT?
Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. ChatGPT can use one of them or all at once.
Will ChatGPT change anything in Google Sheets without asking?
By default these actions wait for your approval before they run: “Clear cells”. Other changes follow your rules, which you can make stricter per account.
