Connect Google Sheets to Codex
To use Google Sheets in Codex, connect your Google Sheets account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Codex once. Codex then gets 8 Google Sheets tools, for example: “Find spreadsheets”, “Spreadsheet structure”, and “Read cells”. It takes about 4 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Google Sheets in Manyplug
Click “Connect Google Sheets” and sign in on Google Sheets’s own page. Manyplug never sees your password.
2. Add Manyplug to Codex
Codex CLI and the IDE extension.

Can I connect two Google Sheets accounts to Codex?
Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Codex can use one of them or all at once.
Will Codex change anything in Google Sheets without asking?
By default these actions wait for your approval before they run: “Clear cells”. Other changes follow your rules, which you can make stricter per account.
Do I need an official Google Sheets MCP server for this?
