Connect Google Drive to Cursor
To use Google Drive in Cursor, connect your Google Drive account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Cursor once. Cursor then gets 4 Google Drive tools, for example: “Search files”, “Read a file”, and “Create a file”. It takes about 3 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Google Drive in Manyplug
Click “Connect Google Drive” and sign in on Google Drive’s own page. Manyplug never sees your password.
2. Add Manyplug to Cursor
Cursor 1.0 and later.
- Click “Add to Cursor” or paste the config into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.

Each action can be turned off per account, and changes can wait for your OK.

Can I connect two Google Drive accounts to Cursor?
Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Cursor can use one of them or all at once.
Will Cursor change anything in Google Drive without asking?
Changes follow your rules: you can make every change in Google Drive wait for your approval, or let Cursor only read.
Do I need an official Google Drive MCP server for this?
