Connect Mailchimp to Cursor
To use Mailchimp in Cursor, connect your Mailchimp account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Cursor once. Cursor then gets 8 Mailchimp tools, for example: “Audiences”, “Search subscribers”, and “Get a subscriber”. It takes about 3 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Mailchimp in Manyplug
Click “Connect Mailchimp” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

- Open Mailchimp → your avatar → Profile → Extras → API keys.Open Mailchimp API keys
- Click Create A Key, name it Manyplug and copy the key.
- Paste the key into the form, and its ending after the dash (for example us21) into Data center.
- The key gives full access to the account. You can revoke it on the same page.
- New subscribers get a confirmation email first unless you tell the AI otherwise.
2. Add Manyplug to Cursor
Cursor 1.0 and later.
- Click “Add to Cursor” or paste the config into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.

Can I connect two Mailchimp accounts to Cursor?
Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Cursor can use one of them or all at once.
Will Cursor change anything in Mailchimp without asking?
Changes follow your rules: you can make every change in Mailchimp wait for your approval, or let Cursor only read.
Do I need an official Mailchimp MCP server for this?
