Connect Google Drive to Claude
To use Google Drive in Claude, connect your Google Drive account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Claude once. Claude then gets 4 Google Drive tools, for example: “Search files”, “Read a file”, and “Create a file”. It takes about 4 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Google Drive in Manyplug
Click “Connect Google Drive” and sign in on Google Drive’s own page. Manyplug never sees your password.
2. Add Manyplug to Claude
claude.ai, Claude Desktop and mobile. The free plan allows one custom connector, and Manyplug is one connector for all your services.
- Open Customize → Connectors (in older versions: Settings → Connectors).
- Click “+ Add” → “Add custom connector”, name it Manyplug, paste the URL and click Continue.
- Keep the suggested sign-in settings and click Add, then Connect: Manyplug opens — sign in and allow access.
- In a chat, click “+” → Connectors, turn Manyplug on and ask: “Connect my email”.
3. Ask Claude
- Find the Q3 budget spreadsheet and tell me the total.
- Summarise the latest version of “Project brief”.
- Which documents did I edit this week?
- Create a doc “Meeting notes 12 Nov” with the points we just discussed.

Each action can be turned off per account, and changes can wait for your OK.

Can I connect two Google Drive accounts to Claude?
Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Claude can use one of them or all at once.
Will Claude change anything in Google Drive without asking?
Changes follow your rules: you can make every change in Google Drive wait for your approval, or let Claude only read.
