Connect Todoist to Claude

To use Todoist in Claude, connect your Todoist account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Claude once. Claude then gets 7 Todoist tools, for example: “Find tasks”, “List projects”, and “Add a task”. It takes about 4 minutes and works on the free plan.

Connect Todoist Free plan, no card

1. Connect Todoist in Manyplug

Click “Connect Todoist” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

Open Todoist → Settings → Integrations → Developer.Open Todoist → Developer
Click Copy API token.
Paste it into the form and click Connect.

The token opens your whole Todoist. To cut access, issue a new token on the same page.

2. Add Manyplug to Claude

claude.ai, Claude Desktop and mobile. The free plan allows one custom connector, and Manyplug is one connector for all your services.

Open Customize → Connectors (in older versions: Settings → Connectors).
Click “+ Add” → “Add custom connector”, name it Manyplug, paste the URL and click Continue.
Keep the suggested sign-in settings and click Add, then Connect: Manyplug opens — sign in and allow access.
In a chat, click “+” → Connectors, turn Manyplug on and ask: “Connect my email”.

Can I connect two Todoist accounts to Claude?

Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Claude can use one of them or all at once.

Will Claude change anything in Todoist without asking?

By default these actions wait for your approval before they run: “Delete a task”. Other changes follow your rules, which you can make stricter per account.

Do I need an official Todoist MCP server for this?
