Connect Notion to Claude

To use Notion in Claude, connect your Notion account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Claude once. Claude then gets 6 Notion tools, for example: “Search”, “Read a page”, and “Query a database”. It takes about 4 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Notion in Manyplug

Click “Connect Notion” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

Open Notion integrations and click New integration.Open Notion integrations
Name it Manyplug, pick your workspace, keep the type Internal and click Save.
Copy the Internal Integration Secret (starts with ntn_) and paste it into the form.
In Notion, open each page or database the AI should see, click ••• → Connections and add the integration.

The AI only sees pages shared with the integration, so start with the ones you need and add more any time.

2. Add Manyplug to Claude

claude.ai, Claude Desktop and mobile. The free plan allows one custom connector, and Manyplug is one connector for all your services.

Open Customize → Connectors (in older versions: Settings → Connectors).
Click “+ Add” → “Add custom connector”, name it Manyplug, paste the URL and click Continue.
Keep the suggested sign-in settings and click Add, then Connect: Manyplug opens — sign in and allow access.
In a chat, click “+” → Connectors, turn Manyplug on and ask: “Connect my email”.

Can I connect two Notion accounts to Claude?

Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Claude can use one of them or all at once.

Will Claude change anything in Notion without asking?

Changes follow your rules: you can make every change in Notion wait for your approval, or let Claude only read.

Do I need an official Notion MCP server for this?
