Connect Stripe to Claude

To use Stripe in Claude, connect your Stripe account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Claude once. Claude then gets 6 Stripe tools, for example: “Balance”, “Search customers”, and “Search payments”. It takes about 4 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Stripe in Manyplug

Click “Connect Stripe” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

A restricted API key from your Stripe dashboard. Takes about two minutes.

Open Developers → API keys in the Stripe dashboard.Open Stripe API keys
Click Create restricted key and name it Manyplug.
Set Read for Balance, Customers, PaymentIntents, Invoices and Subscriptions. Set Refunds to Write only if the AI may refund payments.
Click Create key, copy it (rk_live_…) and paste it into the form.

Want to try it safely first? Use a test-mode key (rk_test_…).
Refunds wait for your confirmation by default (see Rules).

2. Add Manyplug to Claude

claude.ai, Claude Desktop and mobile. The free plan allows one custom connector, and Manyplug is one connector for all your services.

Open Customize → Connectors (in older versions: Settings → Connectors).
Click “+ Add” → “Add custom connector”, name it Manyplug, paste the URL and click Continue.
Keep the suggested sign-in settings and click Add, then Connect: Manyplug opens — sign in and allow access.
In a chat, click “+” → Connectors, turn Manyplug on and ask: “Connect my email”.

Can I connect two Stripe accounts to Claude?

Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Claude can use one of them or all at once.

Will Claude change anything in Stripe without asking?

By default these actions wait for your approval before they run: “Refund a payment”. Other changes follow your rules, which you can make stricter per account.

Do I need an official Stripe MCP server for this?

No. Manyplug connects to Stripe itself with a key or app password you paste into its form, and gives Claude the tools through one MCP address, together with your other services.
