How to connect
About 3 min · You create a restricted API key in the Stripe dashboard and paste it here.
You need
- A Stripe account where you are the owner, an Administrator or a Developer
Steps
- In the Stripe dashboard, open Developers → API keys.Open Stripe API keys
- Click Create restricted key, start from no permissions and name it Manyplug.
- Set Read for Balance, Customers, PaymentIntents, Invoices and Subscriptions. Set Refunds to Write only if the AI may refund payments.
- Click Create key, enter the verification code Stripe sends and copy the key (rk_live_…): Stripe shows it only once.Paste into: Secret API key
- Want to try it safely first? Use a test-mode key (rk_test_…).
- Refunds wait for your confirmation by default (see Rules).
If something goes wrong
- The check says the key is invalid
- Copy the whole key again with the copy button. A key that starts with pk_ is the publishable key and does not work here: use the restricted key (rk_…).
- The AI says it has no permission to read something
- In Developers → API keys, open the key’s menu, click Edit key, set Read for that resource and save.
- The AI sees test data instead of real payments
- The key is from test mode (rk_test_). Turn off Test mode in the dashboard, create the key again and paste it with Reconnect.
Try asking
- How much did we take in this week, by currency?
- Find payments from anna@example.com and show their status.
- Which subscriptions were cancelled this month?
- Refund half of the last payment from ACME. Ask me before doing it.
Several accounts? Connect each one and give it a name, for example Work and Personal.
