Connect Stripe to Gemini CLI

To use Stripe in Gemini CLI, connect your Stripe account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Gemini CLI once. Gemini CLI then gets 6 Stripe tools, for example: “Balance”, “Search customers”, and “Search payments”. It takes about 3 minutes and works on the free plan.

Connect Stripe Free plan, no card

1. Connect Stripe in Manyplug

Click “Connect Stripe” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

A restricted API key from your Stripe dashboard. Takes about two minutes.

Open Developers → API keys in the Stripe dashboard.Open Stripe API keys
Click Create restricted key and name it Manyplug.
Set Read for Balance, Customers, PaymentIntents, Invoices and Subscriptions. Set Refunds to Write only if the AI may refund payments.
Click Create key, copy it (rk_live_…) and paste it into the form.

Want to try it safely first? Use a test-mode key (rk_test_…).
Refunds wait for your confirmation by default (see Rules).

2. Add Manyplug to Gemini CLI

In Gemini CLI type /mcp auth manyplug and sign in.

Can I connect two Stripe accounts to Gemini CLI?

Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Gemini CLI can use one of them or all at once.

Will Gemini CLI change anything in Stripe without asking?

By default these actions wait for your approval before they run: “Refund a payment”. Other changes follow your rules, which you can make stricter per account.

Do I need an official Stripe MCP server for this?
