Connect Netlify to Cursor

To use Netlify in Cursor, connect your Netlify account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Cursor once. Cursor then gets 7 Netlify tools, for example: “Sites”, “Site”, and “Deploys”. It takes about 3 minutes and works on the free plan.

Connect Netlify Free plan, no card

1. Connect Netlify in Manyplug

Click “Connect Netlify” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

Your Netlify personal access token. Takes about a minute.

Open Netlify → User settings → Applications → Personal access tokens and click New access token.Open Netlify tokens
Name it Manyplug, pick an expiry and create it.
Copy the token and paste it into the form.

The token sees every team and site of your user.
Rolling back to an older deploy only happens after you confirm.

2. Add Manyplug to Cursor

Cursor 1.0 and later.

Click “Add to Cursor” or paste the config into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.

Can I connect two Netlify accounts to Cursor?

Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Cursor can use one of them or all at once.

Will Cursor change anything in Netlify without asking?

By default these actions wait for your approval before they run: “Publish a deploy”. Other changes follow your rules, which you can make stricter per account.

Do I need an official Netlify MCP server for this?

No. Manyplug connects to Netlify itself with a key or app password you paste into its form, and gives Cursor the tools through one MCP address, together with your other services.
