Connect Smartsheet to Windsurf

To use Smartsheet in Windsurf, connect your Smartsheet account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Windsurf once. Windsurf then gets 6 Smartsheet tools, for example: “Sheets”, “Search”, and “Get a sheet”. It takes about 4 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Smartsheet in Manyplug

Click “Connect Smartsheet” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

  2. Click Generate new access token, name it Manyplug and copy it.
  3. Paste the token into the form. EU or Australian account? Pick your region.
  • The token acts as you and sees the same sheets you do.

2. Add Manyplug to Windsurf

  • Which tasks in the “Launch plan” Smartsheet are overdue?
  • Add a row to Leads: ACME, Anna Smith, anna@acme.com.
  • Mark the “Landing page” row done and leave a comment.

Can I connect two Smartsheet accounts to Windsurf?
Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Windsurf can use one of them or all at once.
Will Windsurf change anything in Smartsheet without asking?
Changes follow your rules: you can make every change in Smartsheet wait for your approval, or let Windsurf only read.
Do I need an official Smartsheet MCP server for this?
