Connect Smartsheet to Claude

To use Smartsheet in Claude, connect your Smartsheet account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Claude once. Claude then gets 6 Smartsheet tools, for example: “Sheets”, “Search”, and “Get a sheet”. It takes about 4 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Smartsheet in Manyplug

Click “Connect Smartsheet” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

Click Generate new access token, name it Manyplug and copy it.
Paste the token into the form. EU or Australian account? Pick your region.

The token acts as you and sees the same sheets you do.

2. Add Manyplug to Claude

claude.ai, Claude Desktop and mobile. The free plan allows one custom connector, and Manyplug is one connector for all your services.

Open Customize → Connectors (in older versions: Settings → Connectors).
Click “+ Add” → “Add custom connector”, name it Manyplug, paste the URL and click Continue.
Keep the suggested sign-in settings and click Add, then Connect: Manyplug opens — sign in and allow access.
In a chat, click “+” → Connectors, turn Manyplug on and ask: “Connect my email”.

Can I connect two Smartsheet accounts to Claude?

Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Claude can use one of them or all at once.

Will Claude change anything in Smartsheet without asking?

Changes follow your rules: you can make every change in Smartsheet wait for your approval, or let Claude only read.
