Connect Harvest to Claude

To use Harvest in Claude, connect your Harvest account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Claude once. Claude then gets 7 Harvest tools, for example: “Time entries”, “Log time”, and “Update an entry”. It takes about 4 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Harvest in Manyplug

Click “Connect Harvest” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

Open Harvest Developers → Personal access tokens and click Create new personal access token.Open Harvest tokens
Name it Manyplug and create it.
Copy Your Token and the Account ID from the token page into the form.

The token acts as you and sees the same projects and entries you do.

2. Add Manyplug to Claude

claude.ai, Claude Desktop and mobile. The free plan allows one custom connector, and Manyplug is one connector for all your services.

Open Customize → Connectors (in older versions: Settings → Connectors).
Click “+ Add” → “Add custom connector”, name it Manyplug, paste the URL and click Continue.
Keep the suggested sign-in settings and click Add, then Connect: Manyplug opens — sign in and allow access.
In a chat, click “+” → Connectors, turn Manyplug on and ask: “Connect my email”.

Can I connect two Harvest accounts to Claude?

Yes. Connect each one in Manyplug under its own name, for example Work and Personal. Claude can use one of them or all at once.

Will Claude change anything in Harvest without asking?

Changes follow your rules: you can make every change in Harvest wait for your approval, or let Claude only read.

Do I need an official Harvest MCP server for this?

No. Manyplug connects to Harvest itself with a key or app password you paste into its form, and gives Claude the tools through one MCP address, together with your other services.

Is it free to connect Claude to Manyplug?
