Connect Harvest to Gemini CLI

To use Harvest in Gemini CLI, connect your Harvest account in Manyplug and add Manyplug to Gemini CLI once. Gemini CLI then gets 7 Harvest tools, for example: “Time entries”, “Log time”, and “Update an entry”. It takes about 3 minutes and works on the free plan.

1. Connect Harvest in Manyplug

Click “Connect Harvest” and paste the key or app password into Manyplug’s form:

Your Harvest personal access token and Account ID. Takes about a minute.

Open Harvest Developers → Personal access tokens and click Create new personal access token.Open Harvest tokens
Name it Manyplug and create it.
Copy Your Token and the Account ID from the token page into the form.

The token acts as you and sees the same projects and entries you do.

2. Add Manyplug to Gemini CLI

Run the command.

gemini mcp add --transport http manyplug https://manyplug.com/mcp

In Gemini CLI type /mcp auth manyplug and sign in.
