Turn emails into tasks with AI
Ask: “Go through this week’s email and add a task for every request someone made of me.” The AI reads the threads, writes clear task titles with the sender and due date, and adds them to Todoist, Linear, Asana, Jira or ClickUp, whichever you connected. It lists what it added so you can undo anything.
Ask your AI
- Read my unread email and add a task for every request made of me, with a due date if one is mentioned.
- Create a Linear issue from the bug report Sam emailed this morning, with the steps to reproduce.
- Which of my open tasks came from emails I have since answered? Mark those done.
What happens
- The AI searches your mail, reads the threads that ask something of you and extracts the request, the person and the date.
- It creates the tasks through the task manager you name; with one connected, it uses that one.
- Creating tasks is a normal change and runs right away; completing or deleting follows your rules, and deleting waits for your OK by default.
Set it up
- Connect your accounts. Sign up and connect the services you use from the list below, or ask the AI for a link.
- Add Manyplug to your AI app. Paste the Manyplug address into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP client; each guide below has the steps.
- Ask. Copy one of the requests above into a new chat.

Tips
- Say where tasks should go (“Todoist, project Work”) the first time; the AI keeps it for the conversation.
- Ask for a list first (“show me what you would add”) when you want to pick.
Questions
Does it read attachments?
It reads the email text. Files on Google Drive, Notion or Confluence can be read through those services.
Can I use Notion as my task list?
Yes. The AI can create pages in a Notion database, so a Notion task board works too.
